Due to recent success in securing some major new contracts, my client is expanding the size of the company and, as a result, will require an experienced Finance Officer, to work in support of the Finance Manager with a high level of professionalism.
The Finance Officer will undertake a variety of finance related duties, including maintaining computerised financial systems, processing sales and purchase invoices, performing income & expenditure reconciliations including trial balance and bank reconciliations, liaising with suppliers & customers and assist in the financial management of the contracts.
You will work closely with the ICT, marketing and administrative functions within the organisation. You will assist in the smooth running of the company's planned growth, new business development and company-wide objectives.
The role requires an experienced finance person, ideally within a similar role. The ideal candidate will have appropriate financial qualifications, a thorough knowledge of Sage Line 50 Accountant Plus and an ability to understand job costing and to be able to prepare & oversee budgets.
You will be a good team player with a strong commercial awareness and flexibility of thought, a person who can critically assess a situation and find & implement business solutions. You will have the ability to manage change and a demanding work environment.
