Clients include bankers and corporates, some of the world’s leading commodities producers, trading houses, banks, trade finance institutions, commodity funds, financing consortia, and export credit agencies.
From credit committee to drawdown, they offer commercial risk-aware advice, working with clients to develop the markets and invest in new products for today's trading community including supply chain financing and risk transfer products.
They are looking to recruit an International Trade Finance Lawyer to join their firm in Central London.
Skills and experience:
• Experience in Structured Trade Finance, Transactional Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Discounting, Forfaiting and Debt.
• 2+ PQE
• Strong academic background.
• From a UK City firm with exposure to a wide range of non contentious Trade, Finance or Banking matters. They will also consider Trade Litigators looking to move to transactional work as well foreign qualified lawyers with relevant experience.
• Experience of drafting and negotiating a wide variety of finance (ideally debt finance) documentation.
• Proven ability to deal with clients directly on a day to day basis, such as client secondments.
• A willingness to assume responsibility and take a pro-active and commercial approach to issues.
• Able to show initiative and work to tight deadlines.
• A real interest in marketing and the ability to foster long-term client relationships.
