A part qualified Management Accountant is required for a services organisation based in the Camberley area. In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the reporting and analysis of the companies fixed assets, direct and overhead costs and maintenance of the general ledger. The role is specifically responsible for variance analysis, accruals, prepayments, gross margin reporting and analysis, monthly reconciliations and ad hoc project based reporting by senior management. The successful candidate will be currently studying towards a professional qualification (ACCA or CIMA) and looking to continue studies within the organisation for a long a prosperous career. Experience of management accounts and analysis within a commercial setting is essential for successful applications and the ability to communicate across the company, from directors to support staff, is a must.
The role will involve:
• Day to day management of the finance department. • Assisting the Group Finance Director with ad hoc reporting. • Preparing the monthly management accounts for the group of companies. • Providing management with information as required to assist the business managers to actively manage their budgets. • Ensuring nominal ledger is accurate and up to date. • Reconciliation of control accounts. • Daily cash flow management. • VAT returns for the group of companies. • Bank reconciliations for the group of companies. • Inter-group charging and allocation of costs within the group.
