A fantastic opportunity for a Regional Account Executive has arisen within one of the UK’s leading training providers. Our client is looking for a professional salesperson to take on a field-based role, targeting organisations in a designated territory, undertaking the primary responsiblity for maximising revenue growth within the company’s existing client base, as well as developing new business.

 

Our client is a leading provider of e-learning and performance support solutions for all types of organisations, ranging from SME to Fortune 500 companies and covering public and private sectors. The company enables organisations to maximise business performance through a complete range of e-learning content, online information, flexible learning technologies and support services.

 

Salary and Benefits:

 

·         Basic Salary: £40K OTE: £90K

·         Car allowance

·         20 days holiday rising to 25 days after 5 years

·         Contributory pension scheme (effective on completion of 6 months probationary period)

Job Requirements:

 

·         Proven ability to manage and develop an existing account base to maximise profitability, in addition to winning new business

·         A background which includes a minimum of 5 years successful sales experience to blue chip companies, exceeding annual sales targets for at least 3 consecutive years

·         A high degree of understanding and experience of selling solutions in a consultative manner

·         A bright and articulate individual who shows high levels of competency when dealing with senior decision makers

·         An organised and adaptable professional with drive and enthusiasm along with strong Cold Calling and Prospecting skills

·         A developed network of key contacts in the corporate sector gained through strong relationship building skills

 

Performance Goals:

 

·         Prospecting should be maintained at a minimum of 50 calls per week with at least 5 new face to face meetings per week with “C” level executives from the nominated account list

·         Within 90 days, develop a pipeline of around £125K in potential sales with a view to closing at least £25K in sales

·         After 6 months, the pipeline should be double that of the first 90 days, with a further £50K of closed business

·         By the end of the first year, to have developed and to maintain an ongoing pipeline of at least £750K, with £250K in closed sales
