An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proven sales person to join an organisation specialising in developing innovative business technology. As part of a successful privately owned and fast growing group, the company has a high commitment to continuing its impressive growth levels through the internal development of new and existing products.

 

The successful sales person will join the team based on the outskirts of Luton, and will have a business to business sales background. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished sales person to join a dynamic company with unique industry-specific offerings, utilising the existing pipeline and driving forward new business sales.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Identify sales opportunities through direct prospecting and lead follow up

·         Achieve sales objectives primarily through new business, and identify opportunities to sell additional products to new and existing customers

·         Manage the sales process through product demonstration, negotiation and close

·         Develop a high level of knowledge about the company’s products and services through assisted training, and maintain an understanding of the marketplace and competitive offerings

·         Be an active team member and undertake tasks necessary to drive sales revenue and communicate activities to sales management, in order to help meet company objectives

 

Skills & Experience:

 

·         An organised and adaptable professional with drive and enthusiasm along with a proven record in selling products and / or services

·         A bright, imaginative and articulate individual who can communicate at senior levels

·         Mature and very hard working with great drive and hunger, able to work independently and with strong team ethics

·         Excellent presentation and communication skills

·         Excellent PC and Internet skills

·         Able to generate new business with a strong telephone manner, and the potential to conduct face to face client meetings

·         Success-oriented with a proven record of achieving sales targets

·         Able to work independently with strong business acumen

 

The successful candidate will be able to earn a basic salary of £24,000 - £26,000 per year, with uncapped commission enabling the sales person to exceed the estimated OTE of £50,000. In addition, the successful candidate will be entitled to 25 days holiday per year, plus a laptop and mobile phone.
